OYO 72644 Castle Mohali

Don't waste your money here. Oyo showed me a room for 600, but at reception they asked for 700, and the guy told me to cancel the booking through oyo. I was sharing with a buddy and the mattress was so uncomfortable I felt like I'd need a back massage just to walk properly in the morning. They had no extra blanket when I asked, and they don't provide food, so don't fall for that.

We arrived to check in for the 2 rooms I'd booked for 5 people through the OYO application. OYO and the hotel had both confirmed the booking, yet the staff refused to give us rooms and claimed they had no link with OYO. They said they had never listed the hotel there and told us to call OYO to sort it out instead of helping coordinate. Still, if you search hotel castle online, the name starts with OYO. As far as I know, OYO can't list a hotel without proper authorization or verification from the hotel.

The staff were rude and painfully slow, and the place is hard to find. There's no kitchen, so they bring food from outside. It tasted poor and cost too much. If you book through OYO, you can select a breakfast add-on, but once you arrive the staff may refuse to serve it, so booking that way is a bad move. The ratings on the OYO app are all fake for this hotel. A very poor place to stay.

A really bad experience. There were no bedsheets on the bed, and they brought water bottles with the seal already open. They charge extra for everything, but when you ask them to bring something, they say it's finished and tell you to go outside and buy it yourself.
