The food tasted good, and the pool water was clear. We also enjoyed the photo session within the bagh. The property itself is large, with a nice area for morning walks. That’s about all I liked. After a tiring journey, we had to call maintenance or housekeeping repeatedly to fix basic problems. The room and toilet weren’t clean, the mattresses were uncomfortable, and the intercom, kettle, TV, bathroom exhaust, and dim room lights weren’t working properly. Bathroom drainage was poor and it smelled bad. There were many wasps around the suite, which felt dangerous. The private-pool suite was a waste of money, with wasps flying around and the area unclean. In the playroom, the TT bats and pool stick were broken, and the carrom board was tiny and old. The waiter first tried to tell us there’d be no high tea snacks because we arrived late, even though we were on time. Housekeeping management and staff seemed untrained in cleaning and room maintenance. There was no bonfire, despite it being listed on the website, and we’d paid a high room rate expecting those facilities. We had a bad stay and moved to another hotel. On safari, we met other tourists who had also left for similar reasons. I’d suggest management fix these issues before recommending the place to friends.

The restaurant was the one bright spot. The food was excellent and well prepared, though service was a little slow because they seemed short staffed. Everything else made for a disappointing stay. Housekeeping was careless, the reception staff seemed uninterested, and most of the game room equipment was missing or broken. I asked four times in one day to have the pool cleaned, but it never happened. Poor management overshadowed what could have been a pleasant visit. I wouldn’t recommend staying until these basic issues are fixed.

The restaurant is the only part I’d recommend. The chefs prepared proper Jain food, and the restaurant staff were extremely polite and welcoming, with excellent hospitality. Hotel service was bad, and repeated complaints got no action. The swimming pool was full of dirt, and they provided neither hand towels nor bathroom mats.

The food was good, but service wasn’t handled properly even after we complained several times, and they need more staff to make things convenient. The swimming pool was dirty, and the club wasn’t maintained well either. The property is nice, just not cared for to the standard it should be.

The staff were really nice, and both the food and the service were good. Our room was very clean too. If I come back to this hotel, I’ll stay here again.
