We were heading to Kalka the next day, and for a short stop the location worked well, about 1 km from Chandigarh Railway Station. The rates are affordable, the rooms are roomy and comfortable, and heaters are provided for colder weather. Our room was clean and in good condition, and the staff were cooperative and quick to try to sort out requests. There wasn't any drinking water service, though, with no bottles or glasses in the room. A convenient option for transit or a brief stay.

The stay at hotel alpine was good, and we got a nice room at a very good rate. The rooms were neat and clean, the staff helpful, and the hotel sits in the main market if you need to buy anything. It was under renovation, which was the one drawback; everything else was good. Be careful with auto drivers at chandigarh railway station. Even if you already have a hotel booking, some ask for Rs. 200 and claim they can take you to a better, cheaper hotel for just Rs. 20 fare. They may take you to a dirty place and tell lies about your booked hotel being bad or far away to earn commission. If you check out, you might not get your money back.

The hotel is in the main market and an easy walk from the station. Our room was spacious, everything worked, and the staff were polite and helpful. There’s good car parking if you arrive by four wheeler. We had a very decent stay at hotel alpine.

There was no electricity for hours, the taps didn't work, and even a trash can was missing. The sheets were stained and smelly, while the bathroom and rooms were dirty and foul smelling. Basic amenities were absent, and the place felt extremely unhygienic. A horrible experience, definitely not suitable for anyone.

We booked two rooms, and both felt like new builds. They were clean, spacious, and well maintained. The hotel also has good parking for cars and bikes, and the staff and room service were very good. Excellent stay at hotel alpine.
