I was expecting much worse after seeing the reviews and the room from outside, which looked shady and pretty low-class. I had booked during a sports event, and it happened to be a wedding day, so the nearby hotels were full. Once I checked in, the reception guy was really sweet and made the process simple. The washroom was professionally cleaned, the sheets were clean, and the towels were spotless. He brought fresh RO water in glasses covered with paper, and the AC was set to 23. There was a baraat outside, but I wasn't disturbed, so there seems to be some soundproofing. I paid 1700, and for the space and service, it easily beats places costing 2000. The only thing I found a bit expensive was coffee at 50 for one cup, so order drinks from somewhere else. The guy also told me that drinks and female partners aren't a problem here. I was alone, though.

Everything was good for me. The staff behaved well, and the room was clean and hygienic. Punjab hotel is at 22b, across from Sector 17 ISBT, and the rent is among the cheapest.

The location is really good, and the manager was helpful. The staff, though, asked for tips every day. They could use some guidance on manners and discipline.

We used to be regular customers, but we won't be going back. I booked rooms on goibibo and called the hotel to confirm, then the owner refused the booking, so we booked directly. They quoted a much higher price than goibibo, added GST at checkout saying it wasn't included, and didn't give us a bill. The owner and staff came across as very money-minded and clever. A total waste, definitely not recommended.

The staff were polite and quick with room service, and the room had plenty of space and was neat when we arrived. Being centrally located beside Sec-17 ISBT made it easy to get around. I really enjoyed the stay, especially at an affordable tariff.
