The rooms are well maintained, but there weren’t any hangers in the closet. Reception staff could be arrogant at times, though they were a bit more helpful if you spoke the local language. Breakfast wasn’t good, and there aren’t many other options in the city. I got lucky with a clean, good room. My friends weren’t as fortunate and had to change rooms three times. Once we got to know the staff and broke the ice, a small tip seemed to help: they arranged lunch and dinner from better hotels or restaurants, and sometimes went along with us.

We booked three corporate large rooms for three nights, but mosquitoes made it hard to sleep any of the nights. Staff outright refused our request for a repellent or liquidator, even after they’d agreed earlier. We also had to keep reminding them about towels, toiletries, breakfast, and drinking water. Once, they even refused to provide water or breakfast. Google Maps gives the wrong location and takes you behind the actual place. The correct spot is Rahamath Shopping Mall on GST Road.

The hotel is easy to spot on the main road, though Maps puts it in the wrong place. OYO policy says breakfast is included, but there was no breakfast.

For a trip to Chengalpattu, this is one of the best hotels I’ve found. Booking through the Oyo app can get you some great discounts.
