Breakfast had a decent range, and the food was wholesome. The staff were kind, especially Mr. Ravi. The rooms were okay, but the floor stayed sticky after cleaning and the bathroom smelled pungent. I asked them to clean it again, and after that the service was spectacular. It was a good stay overall.

Mr. Ganesh, manager at Amber Hotel, Chennai, made the stay pleasant and memorable with his warm manner, professionalism, and genuine care. He goes out of his way to make guests comfortable and satisfied. Amber Hotel is lucky to have someone so dedicated and courteous on the team.

The hotel is close to US biometric VAC and feels modern, clean, tidy, and pleasant. It works well for singles or couples spending a couple of nights in town for work. Rooms are small, so families or anyone planning to spend more time in the room may want to look elsewhere. It would be useful to have a microwave, iron box, and water filter in the common passageway. A couple of plates and spoons in each room would also be better than having to request them from reception.

I had a great nine-day stay. The room was clean and well maintained, and the food was great. Staff were kind and helpful with questions, while the waiters were courteous and proactive. Hotel manager Mr. Ganesh showed great hospitality.

The hotel has recently been renovated and opened, and the rooms are very good. It’s especially convenient for anyone visiting Chennai for the USA Biometric VAC centre. Front office staff on both day and night shifts were very friendly and made sure the stay was comfortable.
