The cockroaches were in the room and cupboards from the first day. I still have photos of the dead ones, which I shared with the person in charge, but got no response. After repeated complaints and follow-ups, I was handed HIT spray and had to use it often. There were cobwebs on both the room and bathroom ceilings, and the thick turkey doormat was wet until I asked for a replacement. The balcony was so dusty I couldn't step out, and the shared hall wastebasket wasn't emptied during my three-day, three-night stay. I also had to use the same towel the whole time because the office was closed most of the stay, with the in-charge people appearing only at check-in and checkout. The power backup ran just one fan and the tubelight, not the AC or TV. I booked after seeing the good ratings, so I'm surprised by them. Since the office was locked nearly all the time, I felt our safety was in our own hands, and I was staying alone. The dead cockroach photos were taken on day one, not day three. If these problems aren't taken seriously, then I suppose a five-star rating makes sense, and you can go ahead and book here.

The staff were friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed, and the hotel felt safe and welcoming. Our family found the stay relaxing and worry-free. The rooms were clean, spacious, and kept to a good standard of hygiene.

There are a few good places to eat within an easy walk, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The stay was comfortable and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I called to reserve a room for two guests, and the receptionist questioned me about my relationship to the other guest because I'm a woman. He spoke condescendingly and inappropriately, implying I might be doing something vulgar. I said the person was a relative, but he still seemed unconvinced and told me we had to bring Aadhar IDs. We're NRIs and don't have Aadhar cards. I understand that might be company policy, but he was extremely rude about explaining it. I'm relieved I found out about this behavior before booking or arriving. It makes me question women's safety in a place that treats women so vilely. It's absurd for a hospitality business in a big city not to understand customer service or tourism. It's 2026. Do better.
