Vibrant stay

The rooms were dirty and badly maintained, and the whole setting didn’t feel suitable for a comfortable or respectable stay. They quoted a low rate on the phone, then asked for much more when I arrived. Based on my experience, avoid this place if you don’t want unexpected extra costs. The earlier reviews were accurate.

I booked through the OYO app and got confirmation, but when I called reception the person was rude and said they wouldn’t provide a room. They wanted five times the booked price. A terrible experience, and not worth even one star.

The room was filthy, with strong smoke and alcohol smells, and it didn’t feel safe for people arriving from far away. Don’t pay through the app: the hotel won’t accept that payment and asks for another 1500₹. Either pay again at check-in or lose what you paid in the app. Easily the worst room I’ve seen. Not clean, not secure, wouldn’t recommend it.

We booked two days through goibibo, but couldn’t get the one-hour early check-in we asked for. Then the power was out for all 24 hours, so the tube lights and fans didn’t work, and no toiletries were provided. One evening we came back to find a small lizard wandering on the bed. The OYO chief there was careless about all of it and had no answers.
