The area is calm and quite good, with the beach, IIT and other important places nearby. But the old rooms need renovation if they're charging Rs.3000, which doesn't feel worth it for the room and service. I'd put the price closer to Rs.1500. I booked a balcony room and got a small one without a balcony. The listing mentioned a sofa, towel, dining table, and breakfast, but none were provided. I also saw 3 to 4 kids running the hotel, and they didn't seem to know customer service. Management should put proper people at the desk. The room itself was okay.

The furniture was basic but neat, and the rooms are generally good. Mine was room 108 on the third floor, though, with a damaged flush button that came out in my hand. The lift only goes to the second floor, and there's just one room on the top floor. Staff were quite rude and didn't seem to understand or try to understand customers, and they shut the front door right away, so you have to call them whenever you enter or leave. It may be okay for a short stay.

The quiet neighborhood was convenient, and the clean, nicely decorated room was comfortable. Staff were very helpful too. Annsun felt up to boutique hotel standards. We enjoyed the breakfast, though it arrived a bit late. Hopefully it's on time next visit. I'd recommend it to others.

Low frills, but the stay was comfortable, and I'd stay again. The hotel is near IIT Madras main gate in a small, peaceful housing locality. Staff were attentive and courteous. Food is available, though it can take a while when there are lots of bookings. We skipped breakfast in our booking to save time and keep our plans flexible.
