Broad Lands

The rooms, building views, and ambience were good, especially if you like old-style rooms and photography. But the hospitality was awful. We were treated as if we were staying without paying, charged another 360 Rupees after booking and paying online through the makemytrip website, and they didn’t respond properly to calls about pre-booking and other things. They also impose a rule to enter before 11 pm, which wasn’t listed on the booking site. Food and other facilities cost extra, and honestly the Wifi Connectivity is a scam.

It’s an affordable, comfortable place in the city center, and the hotel looks beautiful and well maintained. It seems suitable for female guests, too. The older staff don’t really help with luggage, but overall I had a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

Inside, the lodge has lovely vintage vibes that made me feel at home, even though the outside didn’t make it look promising. It’s a great budget option if you want a safe, clean room. They also have a very cute dog, Moti. He is a Cutieee. The gates get locked after a certain time, so going in or out at midnight could be a struggle. You need to buy your own water bottles, and there’s no room service. Apart from that, everything was amazing. Have a happy stay.

The older rooms were spotless and really comfortable, and the hotel itself is incredibly beautiful. The location’s great, with lots of yummy food places nearby. They were so kind, too. They let us use an extra room to shower and wait three hours until ours was ready, and the older uncle does laundry for a really reasonable price. You will NOT regret staying here!!
