I had a nice time here with my friends. It's in a quiet spot, with spacious rooms, a medium-sized pool, and the beach a five-minute drive away. I'd say it's better suited to bachelors and friends than families. The bathrooms weren't very clean, towels weren't provided, and soaps were out of stock, so we didn't get any. An okay experience overall.
Cloud7 looks like an old place and doesn't seem well maintained, even though most rooms are spacious. It's peaceful otherwise, and Neelankarai beach is about a 10-minute walk away, where you can spend time with your loved ones. Photos don't really tell you what this place is like.
A calm setting in a safe neighbourhood, and the pool was clean. The kitchen was good and the food decent, while the staff were friendly. Room quality varies: some weren't to my liking, but others were really good. The beach is a 10-minute walk away.
We had booked the resort for 28 March, but with the Quarantine situation we asked to get our advance back or at least move the dates. They wouldn't agree and wanted us to come on the 28th. The person we spoke to was arrogant, and they won't even talk to us about the advance, so we're not getting that money back. At least we avoided losing more to these sick, money-minded people.
Great for a get-together party, with strong privacy if you're coming with your girlfriend or family. My ratings were 5/5 for hospitality, environment, safety, satisfaction, amenities, and privacy, and 4/5 for cleanliness. Check the room before you check in, or get pictures from whoever suggested the place. The photos can make the rooms look higher-end than they are, and not all of them are equally satisfying. Some are perfect for friends, but if you want a more upscale look, visit first. The 1st and 2nd floors are the ones I'd mostly choose.
