The building looked dingy and old, and nothing like the online photos. I decided not to go inside and stayed at another Hotel instead. Don’t rely on the pictures when booking here.

There’s no refund if you book and then don’t stay or don’t like the room, and they may ask for extra payment when you arrive. The room reeked of smoke and liquor, and the staff were unprofessional. I found the location dangerous, especially for women or families. Being on the same road as the US Consulate doesn’t mean the hotel is opposite it or in a safe area. It’s actually far away, in the worst part of Thousand Lights. One of the worst hotels in Chennai.

The rooms were full of insects, and when I raised the issue with oyo, they didn’t bother to help. The receptionist charged extra because we stayed longer and didn’t even give us a receipt. The only plus is that it’s close to Us consulate. Disgusting place, and I’d never go back.

The toilet and floors were awful, and there were cockroaches everywhere. It’s the worst room I’ve ever seen.
