FabHotel Green Tree Inn I

We had good room service, and the room was neat and clean. A mattress was provided for the third person in the triple sharing room, but there was no cot. Breakfast was complimentary, and parking could fit up to 6 cars. It was easy to locate, and there’s a restaurant and bar on site. Prices were at par. Good stay, worth the price.

Good enough for an overnight stay. The rooms were clean and well maintained, though the bathroom and AC need better maintenance. It’s near the US consulate and Singapore consulate, but a little far from public transport, so you’ll have to rely on taxis. A decent budget hotel.

The food was horrible and too pricey, and the complimentary breakfast was just awful. The staircase smelled like a hospital. They didn’t replace some items for the next day, including the bathroom mat, soap, and pillow cover. The landline often wouldn’t connect, so I had to go down to reception whenever I needed something. For a hotel supposed to be a star hotel, it doesn’t fit that category and isn’t worth the money.

The breakfast was wholesome, and the staff were friendly about holding our bags when we arrived well before check-in. My dad and I stayed one night while I was in Chennai for a US consulate visa interview. The VAC and consulate were both an easy walk, under 20 minutes, and T Nagar is nearby for shopping and seeing the city. It’s not a fancy hotel, but for the price it felt like a decent deal if complete comfort isn’t your main concern.
