Being close to the IT Park was a real plus for my business trip. My room was spacious, well kept, and comfortable, with ceiling fans and good cross-ventilation. Service was excellent, and the staff were courteous and helpful. I had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend the hotel.

I felt genuinely welcome at Ginger Chennai OMR. Tiyash, Eva, Hema, and Sourajyoti went out of their way to make sure things were right. They were polite, professional, and quick to help, handling each request with a smile and taking initiative. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the service was very good. The staff’s hospitality is what made the stay memorable.

The breakfast spread was excellent, and although the room was on the small side, it was neat, clean, and good value. I had a pleasant, satisfying stay at Hotel Ginger. The staff were friendly and cooperative, with special help from the Manager, Mr. G. Suresh, and Front Office Executive, Mr. Kunal.

There’s ample parking, the rooms were spacious compared with some other Ginger hotels I’ve stayed in, and the food was decent. Marina Mall is only about a five-minute walk away. The hotel is far from central Chennai, though it’s near several major IT firms. Breakfast was disappointing. At 7.30am I asked for an omelet and was told it would take a while. They had no filter coffee, so I had to rely on the flask coffee, which was pathetic. It also wasn’t acceptable that they offer hotel cabs to the airport but not the railway station. Using Ola, Uber, Rapido, or similar services was tough. Drivers asked upfront for double the fare shown; with Ola, the bill looked high even though the final amount might be lower. I had a very bad experience with them.
