The bed setup made it hard to sleep. I booked a double room, but got two single beds pushed together, which was especially uncomfortable for a couple. The geyser in the bathroom didn't work, and room service was poor. Staff weren't helpful. Whenever we asked reception about anything, they said we'd have to speak to the manager once he arrived. On the first day they promised a room change, but nothing happened during our three-day stay. We kept hearing that someone would talk to the manager, but he never came or contacted us. The stay was disappointing and not worth the money. I'd suggest checking the room before paying, and I wouldn't recommend booking online here, especially for couples or families.

We were nine people, including five kids around two to five years old, and had no issues during our family trip to Chennai in October 2025. Aashique and the other staff were helpful. The hotel is on the main ring road, with food hotels next door, and the AC and water facilities were good.

The staff were very cooperative when our family of three stayed at Half Moon Inn for a US Visa interview. It was a handy spot for that, just a five-minute walk across the road. Use the subway to cross it.

The taps didn't work properly, there was no hot water, and the faucets kept leaking. They also didn't provide shampoo, soap, or a water bottle.

For the price, this is a good room option in Thousand Lights. The Mallu boys were nice people and the hospitality was good. They were flexible with time, unlike nearby places.
