The water smelled foul, as if the tank hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and breakfast was only bearable. Cockroaches were present, and the rooms and washrooms were unhygienic. Maintenance and cleanliness were poor throughout. Bathroom pipes leaked and water pressure was low, adding to the hassle. The location wasn't ideal either. This stay fell far below basic expectations for comfort and wasn't worth the cost. The previous visitors' reviews are true. I'd strongly advise avoiding the property.

The good parts were the location, the room size, and humble staff. Our room had decent natural light and ventilation, though the other rooms didn't. Service was very poor, with too few staff. Even after check-in time, we had to wait hours for a room. The property wasn't maintained, with water dripping right in the reception area, and the lift was in bad shape with buttons that didn't work.

Construction seemed to be going on all the time, and the noise was too much. The room wasn't cleaned on time, as if they did it whenever they wanted and we had to wait on them. Staff behavior was arrogant. One of them spoke very rudely to a colleague I called just to chat, as though that person were staying there, which I didn't like. Breakfast was always the same idli dosa, and it ran out by 10am even though breakfast hours lasted until 11am.

The lift was broken, and the room had cobwebs and cockroaches, including on the bed. Rooms were dirty, with blood-riddled towels and bedsheets. Please avoid this place if you care about having a decent stay. I'm just glad my company paid for it.

I was searching for somewhere near Shopping street in T nagar with easy access to Railway Station. The rooms here are spacious and clean, and Reno Eco Stay is the best hotel in this location. If you're after a stay in T nagar, it's Vesta place.
