The location was great, the food was good, and the service was lovely. Staff were friendly and made things easy. My room was neat, comfortable, and well cared for. I really enjoyed staying here, and I'd come back and recommend it to others.

The hotel is in the center station, a two-minute walk from the metro, and I had a pleasant seven-night stay at SMK Regency in Chennai in November 2025 as a sports delegate. Breakfast had lots of options, and the bed was very comfortable, though the air conditioning. Check-in went smoothly, and the front desk staff were polite and spoke good English. When we asked, staff quickly reset the router. Imran the room service boy was very nice and behaved well. Clean rooms and great service. I'd stay again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4.5/5)

It's very convenient for the Central Railway Station, and only about 20 meters from Central Metro Station, near the Ripon Building exit gate. All the staff were excellent in their manner and gave outstanding service. I had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend this hotel as one of the best choices in the area.

For this budget in Chennai, these are some of the best rooms. The staff are friendly, and the owner is a really good person. Service is excellent, and they don't compromise on safety for couples.

I found two spy cameras in the room and hid them with bedsheets. It's your call whether to stay, but check the room carefully before you go in. I say it's not at all suitable for couples. I believe all the reviews are paid, so be aware. I called using the number below and gave them proof, but they said I wasn't part of a hotel stay and began threatening me. Better avoid it.
