Hotel Chennai Gate

There are separate parking areas for cars and two-wheelers, with enough valet parking as well. The hotel is right opposite Chennai Egmore Railway station at the bus stop, in the heart of the city. Rooms are affordable and well maintained, and the staff are attentive. Rates are nominal, while the food and service are excellent. There's also a Part Hall for birthdays, receptions, training for officers and staff, and similar events. A vegetarian hotel is to the left and a non-veg hotel to the right, both next to the car parking.

The entrance could be challenging for physically challenged people. Inside, the place is neat and clean, with helpful employees. The staircase lights have sensors, and there's a fan in the small, attractive service lift. WiFi wasn't working, but cable TV was available. It's opposite Chennai Egmore Railway station in an important location. Booking directly is recommended for the benefit and round-the-clock checkout, along with free breakfast.

I'm Dinesh, the person who wrote that comment. I stayed in rooms 105 and 107, and my review is honest. I never denied there was a booking issue. The owner should read reviews and explain things properly to customers. We have no old grudge and no reason to make false claims. I already lost 4k by staying at the hotel. Ask a friend to stay there and give an honest review, or go stay a day in a random room yourself without telling the staff. Did you check the bedsheets and AC controls before replying? If you had, you might not have said what you did.

I stayed here last week with my sister and kids. It's very easy to get to the electric trains and metro, since the hotel is just opposite Egmore railway station. It also felt like a safe hotel for women travellers.
