Hyatt Regency Chennai

A special thank you to Guest Relations Executives Madhabi and Aishwarya for arranging a surprise cake and towel art from the Housekeeping Team for my grandmother's 80th birthday. General Manager Ruban Das and the whole Hyatt Regency Chennai team made our second stay memorable. My mom and grandma were looked after during breakfast by the very hospitable Spice Haat Lobby restaurant team: hostess Srijana, Ayushman, Mahima, and Samrat. Everyone was cordial. Housekeeper Santhosh and Intern Ayyanar kept Room 205 clean, sanitized, and orderly throughout. At the front desk, Assistant Director of Rooms Prajeesh Nair, Receptionist Sagarika, Bell Attendent Ilayakumar, Intern Benedict, and Doorman Vadivelan were kind and ready to help whenever needed. Hyatt Regency Chennai is a pleasant property with great hospitality.

It was my first visit to India, and staying at the Hyatt made the whole experience incredible. The gym and pool were just right, and the buffet spreads were always something to look forward to. My room was beautifully done and practical, too. I spent four blissful nights here and was amazed by the care and attention from every staff member. Four people especially stood out. Chef Dinesh was incredibly kind, and his food was superb. I don't usually go for vegetables, but I could happily eat vegetarian dishes like his. The other main breakfast buffet chef was always helpful, though I didn't get their name. Ruth in the main Lobby went out of her way to help with everything. The staff at the door and car drop-off area were also so warm each time we returned in the evening.

The rooms were spotless, the dining was delicious, and the staff service was exceptional. S.madhavan and the House keeping team led by raksha provided wonderful hospitality. The spacious, modern facilities made the stay comfortable, and the convenient location was a plus. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Everything was handled well, and it was a truly outstanding stay. Highly recommend it.

I was feeling unwell with a cough during my January 30 stay at the Hyatt Regency Chennai, and the chef kindly made ginger water with herbs and honey. It eased my symptoms noticeably, and I felt much better. That thoughtful gesture, along with the team's caring, cooperative attitude, made my stay comfortable and unforgettable. I'm very grateful to the chef and everyone who looked after me. Please pass on my thanks. I hope to visit again soon.
