Pammal Residency

They don’t have car parking, so if you’re driving, don’t even consider this residency. When we checked in, beer bottles were lying around, and it seemed they hadn’t cleaned the room after the previous checkout. They said there was a water problem and it would be fixed within an hour, but it still wasn’t sorted by the next day. They gave us three buckets of water for bathing and using the restroom. The manager didn’t seem concerned about complaints and didn’t respond properly. It was the worst room in the surrounding area, and I wouldn’t give the service even one star. I ended up staying that night at Sai Bala budget hotel because of this mess, and recommend that place instead.

The location is very good, with hotels and supermarkets nearby. If you don’t have a car and just need somewhere to rest, this could work. With a car, or if you need room service, it’s a poor fit. I stayed recently in a compact AC double room for 1700. It was tiny, with just enough space for the bed and a little room to walk. The AC was new and worked very well, and there was a TV with Airtel DTH. There’s no car parking. The small area in front was already full of bikes, and finding a spot nearby was very hard because it’s on a highway. They served coffee in the morning, but in the evening said nobody was available, so we had to buy it ourselves. There’s a lot they need to improve.

The bedsheets looked white and clean but smelled of oil, as if they were made to look tidy without being changed after checkout. The rooms are cramped and small, and not very clean. Management seems disorganized, there’s no hot water, and parking isn’t proper. I won’t stay there again.

After booking through OYO, I arrived to find there were no rooms available. Thirty minutes later they showed me two, both very dirty and covered in spiderwebs. The staff behaved poorly and the property wasn’t maintained, so I booked another hotel. A very bad experience, don’t book this one.
