The room was quiet and comfortable, with good WiFi, a TV, and A/C that worked so well I set it to 18c and slept great. I felt safe too, thanks to the security guard and helpful front desk staff. As a foreigner, I also enjoyed seeing other visitors around and hearing familiar languages. Food choices seemed limited for a vegetarian, though, and my only real complaint is the shower had no hot water. Warm water would make this a great place for the price.

Stopped by for dinner and a beer. The staff were friendly, the food was tasty, and the prices were reasonable. Had a really nice time.

I felt unwell after just two nights here. The place was filthy, with no hygiene or cleanliness, and even after asking several times, they left us with blood stained bedspreads. Staff were awful and showed no empathy or willingness to help. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even for free.

Of the places in this area, this hotel was the best I found. It's close to the stadium and Marina Beach, and the rooms are very good for a stay. Other nearby hotels felt overpriced and below par, while this one was especially comfortable.

The property is old, and the room photos on the site are old too. Still, everything you need is nearby. It's fine for a night or two, but I wouldn't stay longer.
