The bathroom was the biggest problem for me. The toilet was completely black, and the bathing water smelled awful and looked grayish, almost like sewage. I can't say whether the salt water caused it, but at around 2100 for the room, I expected at least a clean bathroom. My standard AC room itself was neat and mostly well maintained, though I spotted two small cockroaches near the pillows. There was no mobile network coverage, but WiFi was available.

For Rs 1750, the Non AC room felt far too expensive, especially with no breakfast included. The space is very cramped: the 12 by 10 measurement includes the bathroom. The TV had only a few channels and a defective picture tube, and the bathroom door locks didn't work.

The manager was the main problem. He was very rude and unfriendly, and when we asked for service or a concession, he reacted as though we'd asked for his kidneys. The rooms were just OK and the hotel is near Central Station, but there was no ventilation, a foul smell, and poor lighting. The service was poor.

I spent 5-6 days at Hotel Santhi Bhavan and had a great stay. The staff were polite and helpful, and the service was excellent. My room was clean and well looked after, and the location was easy to reach and convenient for everything. I'd recommend it for a business trip or a holiday.

Really bad experience. If drivers don't want to use this hotel, that can change a customer's mood in minutes. Drivers deserve respect and dignity too. Staff should take note.
