The rooms are spacious and clean, and otherwise I had a good impression. The washroom doesn’t come up to the same standard, though. They should improve it and provide a few extra basics like a brush, towel, toilet paper, and another water bottle.

I stayed five days for work. The room and toilet were clean, though I was a bit disappointed by how the AC performed. Mr Saravanan at the front desk was cooperative and helped whenever I needed something throughout the stay. Appreciate that.

In Kilpauk, Chennai, The Residency is centrally located and well rated, roughly 4-5 stars. People praise the service as well as the clean, comfortable rooms.

The wash basin and washroom were poorly maintained, with cockroaches around and so many cockroach tablets that the smell was suffocating. Water bottles took 20-30 minutes to arrive, and the receptionist was rude, used abusive language, and deliberately harassed us. They didn’t seem to care even when their manager had given an order. A thoroughly unpleasant stay. I won’t come back or recommend it.

The room was neat and clean, and it was comfortable for a family stay. We enjoyed ourselves, the staff were friendly, and I’d recommend it to my friends.
