In Room No. 522, we spent seven days and were comfortable throughout. Mr. Muthuvel kept the room spotless each day, making the bed neatly, cleaning the bathroom, and organizing and replenishing the amenities without us needing to ask. His consistent care and attention to detail helped us feel relaxed and looked after. That kind of commitment and professionalism is rare. We’re grateful for his hard work and will definitely return, especially for his outstanding housekeeping.

On my first visit to Chennai, my first meal was at JP Hotel, and wow, I loved the Mutton Biryani made just the way I asked for it. The kitchen and service team took time to talk with each other for the guest. Thank you, humbly. :)

The friendly team across the front desk, housekeeping, security, room service, and restaurant made a good impression. I also liked the breakfast spread and the nicely decorated Thuimai lounge on the 4th floor. My nephew had a lot of fun with the lifts. The 24-hour checkout is especially convenient and saves a lot of anxiety. We checked in at 8:00 p.m., and they told us checkout would also be at 8:00 p.m.

The rooms are a bit old, with rustic tiles and taps, but they’re clean and well maintained. It’s a convenient spot for a restful stay, with friendly, service-minded staff and good amenities. The front office and housekeeping teams are courteous and welcoming. I was a little disappointed that the swimming pool was removed, though they turned the space into a nostalgic bar with a great view of Chennai’s cityscape.
