K-Square Hotel

We booked and paid online through goibibo for four rooms for a nearby marriage function, and had the proper invoice. At check-in, the receptionist demanded extra money, saying we couldn't occupy the rooms otherwise, despite the payment being complete. The management was rude to our guests. We had kids and babies with us and waited over two hours. They seemed to think we'd pay because we had no other option with children, and it felt like they were trying to cheat us. My family argued on the phone with someone claiming to be the owner. He was rude and didn't know how to speak to guests. We eventually found another place and left, then asked for a refund after a few conversations with police. The reservation and check-in experience was awful. PLEASE DON'T BOOK HERE!

The location is the one positive. The room wasn't clean or up to standard, and I'll never stay here again or recommend it. I asked for early check-in and checkout, but the owner refused and said there'd be an extra 1000rs charge. We planned to leave the same day, for a total stay under 12 hours, so that fee felt unreasonable. The owner gave a lame reason, saying housekeeping wouldn't be available after 6PM. This is the first time I've heard that at a 3star hotel. Very poor customer service.

We booked 13 rooms for a marriage function at Sree Varaaham hall in Sep-24. It was convenient for the wedding party, the rules were clear, and they allowed three people to a room without an extra charge. Some rooms could use quick repairs to the water heaters and flooring. One guest checked out at 1pm, and at first the hotel planned to deduct Rs1000 from the deposit. I spoke to front office manager Mr Sivadas, who was very customer oriented and got the charge waived after talking to his manager. It made for a pleasant experience overall, and the hotel would do well with more managers like Sivadas and some maintenance work in those rooms.

For around 2k a day, this didn't feel worth the money. The rooms were decent and the location fairly central, but the service fell short. They didn't provide proper toiletries, with no handwash or lotion, and there was no tea or coffee setup in the room. The complimentary breakfast was fine, but the tea had run out by the time we reached the dining area.
