For a one-night stay, I booked a superior deluxe double room, and it was awful for a so-called 2-star hotel. There isn't even a zero-star option. The only good things were the quality of the food and the housekeeping team, Ram and two others.

The rooms were neat and had a distinctive look, so I'd rate them highly. Breakfast was the letdown: the uthappam was soaked in oil, and the bread was completely dry. They really need to improve that.

After a long, tiring journey, I reached at 10:30 PM only to be told my room was unavailable and that the booking had already been cancelled. I'd reserved well in advance through an online site, but nobody called or gave proper notice, leaving me stranded late at night. The staff showed no empathy or accountability. It felt like they overbook and turn guests away without concern. Booking through an online portal here can ruin your trip, so beware.

The biggest problem was the management. Even though we'd booked the rooms months ahead and received confirmation several times, they kept causing confusion right up to the end of the function. At the last minute we weren't sure we'd have rooms, so we had to find some elsewhere for another day. There was more bill confusion when guests checked out, even though we'd settled it in advance. The rooms were only okay for the price, and the lift wasn't working, which made climbing three floors difficult for us, especially the older guests. The banquet hall, thamarai, looked beautiful and suited 40-50 people. The food was amazing, the seating arrangements were good, and the staff were kind and helpful and got things done on time.
