OYO 10356 Hotel Nachiappa Adyar Inn

The rooms were spacious and kept clean, and the hotel was easy to find, opposite Adayar post office. Late check-ins need better reception coverage, though. The Hindi-speaking staff seemed to go to bed before guests arrived. Breakfast also needs attention: if they’re serving it, it should be decent and on time. There’s a burger place nearby that stays open until 4 in the morning.

I’ve been staying here since last Monday and plan to remain until Saturday. Today is Wednesday, 16-08-2018. Every evening when I return from work, the room hasn’t been serviced. They never replace the towels, and breakfast plates are left on the table until they stink. This happens every day. The service is the worst I’ve experienced, and they bring breakfast from roadside dosa vendors. I’d never recommend this hotel and won’t stay here again.

We were 11 people in five rooms for two nights. The rooms were nice, and the staff were excellent and very friendly. The problem came on the second night, when all our rooms ran out of water completely. It took quite a while for the supply to come back.

It’s a house converted into a hotel, and the pictures on OYO give guests the wrong impression. I had a hard time finding it because there were no signs. The staff weren’t friendly, and the basic facilities other reviewers mentioned were missing. One person handles cleaning and maintenance for the whole hotel, as well as room service.
