My two stars are generous. Like another reviewer, I was asked for extra money at the front desk even though customer care had said I didn’t need to pay. It took more than an hour to check in in the middle of the night, with me calling customer care back and forth. They told me breakfast would be ready at 7.30, but it wasn’t there the next morning. The room was nice, and the location gets another star. The front desk and service get zero from me. I was going to recommend this place to a colleague, but I won’t now. Don’t lower the price and then demand more once a booking is complete. It isn’t fair or professional.

The location is close to the metro station and hospitals, which is the main advantage. Rooms and facilities are okay, but a few things were irritating: there’s only one charging point, no bedside switches, and the bathroom spray hose is on the left when it should be on your right. The complimentary breakfast was limited to one item and just one piece, with extra payment needed for more, so I skipped it and went out. Staff could express their concerns better. I posted this complaint six years ago and got a reply six years later. That’s how OYO treats customers. Think before booking.

I booked 25 days through the OYO app for 30k, but the manager, Suriya, called at the last minute asking for another 7k as a convenience charge. OYO customer care told me that charge was already included in the 30k, so not to pay extra. This really wasn’t fair. I gave the hotel and manager Suriya zero ratings.

The rooms were clean, the bathroom was great, and the service was good. Breakfast was South Indian and tasty, too. It’s well located near shenoy nagar metro. My only issue was the charging points: one is by the bed, while the other is far away, so bring an extension box.

I stayed here for around 10 days through my company. The room was clean and just right, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was included and really yummy. WiFi signal was weak, though. Shenoy nagar Metro is nearby, and Aminjikarai Bus stop is an easy walk, about 100m away. A great place to stay.
