OYO Townhouse 87 Spartan Nagar

The staff's rude, unprofessional behavior made me feel insecure and seriously affected my stay. I wouldn't expect this from a reputable hotel. They charge double what you booked through the app, and if you ask about it, they say, "If you don't want to comply, leave the property immediately." Don't choose this hotel if you want a pleasant stay.

I found cockroaches coming out from under the bed, lots of them, and I have a video of the room. When I complained, the staff treated me really badly. They were arrogant, and the room was dirty. I can share more details if needed.

We finally got the room key at 11:15, only after escalating the issue to OYO customer care in Delhi. Our group was five people, including a toddler and an 85-year-old woman, and we had already been kept waiting at reception for over 45 minutes. The wait was recorded on camera, as I understand it. My grandmother asked for chai at 7, but they refused and told her to go up to the third-floor breakfast area, which has no lift access. She is 85. The rooms smelled bad enough that everyone developed a severe cough. Room 005 had no shower water, and room 004 had a drainage problem. The whole floor, including the lift, smelled because of it. The place felt completely unfriendly to guests. Staff scrutinized us over a police check the previous night, apparently because they lacked enough proof about the in-house guests. They didn't come across as professional, and it seemed to me like a lot of illegal activity might be happening there. I assume the person operating the property had a slaughterhouse business before moving into the OYO tie-up. This was a sickening experience, and I wouldn't recommend it. OYO should reconsider the partnership if it wants the future Mr Ghosh talked about at a town hall. If you don't care about anything and have Rs 100, you can get a room here. The rooms were okay and parking was good, but we had a bad experience with the service. The staff were rude, including the people at reception, and no one responded properly when we called a couple of times about the toilet having no water and a broken flush. Food was very expensive too. We paid 450 for egg fried rice and gobi Manchurian. I wouldn't recommend staying here as a family or couple.
