OYO 9939 Nortels Apartments

The friendly staff( subrath) helped make this a great stay. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of local and continental food. My room was quiet even though the hotel is on a busy street, the bed felt like a cloud, and the shower pressure was just right. Highly recommend for officer & business trip .

I stayed for three weeks and slept peacefully, with little noise at night. Sadish at reception was a warm, friendly host and even remembered my breakfast order. Breakfast and wifi are free, and soap and shampoo are provided. You can also order food in, which is handy. A delightful stay, highly recommend.

After reading the positive reviews, I expected this to be a good place for a family stay. I called reception to book directly, gave them the agreed check-in and check-out times, and asked for room photos. They sent them the next day, and the rooms looked decent. But when I arrived with my family at 5:45 am, there was nobody at reception and no room available. Another guest hadn’t checked out, and apparently nobody had reminded them. I was told a room would be ready after 8 am, once it was cleaned. It was awful to leave an elderly family member waiting without a room or even a washroom. I called Prakash, but he didn’t answer. The receptionist said he couldn’t do anything. We waited in the lobby among 100s of mosquitos, with no washroom. Prakash finally picked up at 7 30, apologized, and said he’d arrange a room soon. It was 8: 30am by the time that happened. We’d come from far away, and the delay ruined our morning and the day. The room also looked nothing like the pictures. It was old, unclean, and had broken cupboards. Room service was so so so bad. The food arrived uncovered, the cutlery was bad, and it took 30 minutes to get a spoon. They offered free lunch and dinner as compensation, but the food wasn’t great and the service remained poor. Only the buttermilk was good. The chapattis were hard. There was no intercom to call about anything, and despite the confirmations, they left me waiting nearly three hours in the morning and didn’t take my calls. I checked out early the next morning. I can’t imagine staying longer than a day, and wouldn’t recommend this for families. Reading all the good reviews led me to choose it, but I had a very bad experience.
