Pleasant Days Resort

We had an easy, welcoming check-in thanks to HARIHARANAN at reception. He explained the facilities and guided us well, and was friendly, professional, and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, nice, and well maintained, and room service was excellent. Staff throughout were polite and ready to help, which made the stay more enjoyable. We also liked the restaurant, Ze Flavors Cafe, for its beautiful, relaxing ambience and a nice place to enjoy food and spend time. The support staff were kind and attentive. The property felt lively and pleasant while still offering a good level of privacy. I had a comfortable, memorable stay and would happily return or recommend the resort for a private, relaxing visit.

The grounds were vast, and the room was one of the biggest I've stayed in. The buildings and interiors had a lot of artistic detail, with granite and marble. There's an impressive gym with machines and dumbbells, and a spacious restaurant where breakfast was decent. It seemed to me that occupancy was low, though the property was well maintained. I stayed one night, on my first visit after hearing about the place, because it was close to our manufacturing plant.

The room was fresh, neat, and very clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job. Dining didn't come close to that standard, though. The meals were disappointing and felt overpriced for what we got. I'd stay here for the comfort, but probably go elsewhere for dinner.

The resort itself is beautiful, with well-kept rooms, lawns, and halls. The rooms are huge, and the suite rooms are unlike anything you may have seen in Chennai. I would give the property five or more stars, but only 0.5 for hospitality. The resort was booked out for our wedding, and I knew Paul Raj for years, as did both the current and older family members. Still, there was no welcoming attitude or understanding from him or the team. We know booking the whole resort doesn't mean owning it, but the concerned person kept bringing up policies and terms, and our event team and concerned team were made to run around and beg. I've been to some of the finest resorts and hotels, and this is one of the most beautiful, but the excessively horrible hospitality means I wouldn't recommend it. As the groom, I saw what we had to go through for the wedding to happen. They charged us for 8-9 extra towels even though we'd booked the whole resort, which just showed me how they get people to leave negative reviews. If the owner or concerned team reads this, they should contact us for a better explanation. Thank you.
