The room itself was decent, and the food was nice apart from the pancake I had at breakfast. The bathroom could use a renovation, and the fourth floor smelled really bad when we arrived. Wi-Fi was especially poor in the rooms and wouldn’t connect at all. They really need to upgrade the Wi-Fi system.

Staying here felt comfortable and dependable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, and the hotel was well maintained. Having Watsons attached made things more convenient. The staff were courteous and professional, and everything went smoothly. A good option for a business trip or a leisure stay.

We spent the whole day complaining about smoke filling the floor, and management did nothing. People were smoking in rooms and on the floors, the smell was disgusting, and no fire alarms went off. My kids and I had to breathe it in. The manager wasn’t on site, and reception staff were useless and unresponsive. At 10pm, a staff member knocked and said they’d impose a penalty after the smoker checked out the next day, so we were expected to put up with it until then. There was still no action. The buffet breakfast was good, but parking is affected by the bar/pub upstairs. Avoid this place entirely if you’re with family or children. The staff and management were disgusting and unresponsive, and I can’t recommend it to families.

The staff were welcoming and polite, which made the stay even better. Our room was clean, spacious, and well kept, with a particularly comfortable bed. I had a really comfortable, enjoyable visit and would definitely recommend the hotel.
