We stayed for two weeks in Dec 2014. It’s a comfortable, unpretentious place, clean and well kept, with good WiFi. The food at the restaurant was a highlight, especially the authentic South Indian cooking, and the chef was very good. Our room had a balcony, a high ceiling, a fan and AC. The staff were friendly and helpful, though their English was limited. It works for both short and long stays, with a supermarket and post office nearby and autos easy to find on the main street. The linens seemed a little old by Western standards, but the mattress was good. It isn’t fancy like the Taj, but we had a good experience.

I stayed one day with my father, wife and two daughters. The rooms and service were good, and the place is now called Audi residency. They quoted 2500 per day, then charged 3100 at the end, saying the difference was tax. Apart from that, it was a good stay and we could stay there again.

I’ve stayed here twice, in 2011 and 2014. The location was good, the room clean and the staff friendly. The manager was helpful, though I’m sorry I’ve forgotten his name. We loved the cafe food, it tasted like home cooking.
