Mr. Muniyandi and the staff promised that my room was booked, but when I arrived they put me in a different one without mobile network, Wi-Fi, or a Western toilet. They said they'd move me to another room in 30 minutes, but nothing happened. When I asked for a refund so I could find another hotel, they refused and said even switching on a light in the room would cost extra. I found the owner fraudulent.
After I arrived with an OYO pre-booking, the manager first said they had no AC rooms, only non-AC ones. I called OYO customer care and was told the non-AC rooms were full too. The hotel's service was third-class, and OYO's service is going to die. Avoid this hotel.
I confirmed my booking with both Oyo and the hotel, but they refused me a room when I arrived, saying everything was full. Oyo support also said there were no rooms and told me to wait for a refund. I never booked through Oyo again. Contacting the hotel directly is easier.
The location is great and the room is good. Price is okay, but service is only just okay. Visitors aren't allowed, and using a laptop or iron box costs extra.
There was no network inside the room, and the internet was poor throughout the building. We booked an AC room for eight days, but spent two in a non-AC room because someone else had been given the one we booked. For four of the remaining days, the AC didn't work. We complained repeatedly, but nothing was fixed and they told us to talk to the manager. At checkout, the reception manager took my phone for another purpose and somehow rated his hotel 5/5 on the Oyo app.
