I was charged ₹110 for a one-litre bottle of ordinary drinking water at The Palomar by Crossway. When I asked why, I was told that water delivered from the restaurant is chargeable. Nobody had mentioned a charge before serving it. Guests should be told about a billable item like water and directed to reception or room service if it's complimentary there. I regularly stay at Pride, Marriott, Park, Orchid, Holiday Inn and other 5-star hotels, and none has charged me for basic drinking water. This felt like poor communication and coordination, with billing taking priority over guest comfort. For a property that presents itself as a luxury, 5-star hotel, the charge and the explanation were pathetic and embarrassing. In two decades of travel across India, I've never felt cheated over something so basic. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone expecting genuine hospitality or transparency.

I've stayed at this hotel twice and loved the atmosphere. The food was delicious, service was excellent, and the rooms were well maintained on both trips. Absolutely the best. I'd recommend it to anyone I know visiting the area.

We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of tasty choices. The hotel worked very well for our family stay. The pool was smaller than I expected, and nobody seemed to be using it while we were there.

The Glass House by the poolside was a beautiful setting for our intimate wedding, with greenery, natural light and a calm feel that came through in the photos and the day itself. The food was a hit with our guests, especially the South Indian brunch and live counters. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and well suited to hosting close friends and family. Mr. JD, the General Manager, was warm, accessible and flexible from our first visit through the final moments. His hands-on help, quick coordination and thoughtful support kept everything smooth and stress-free. Thank you, JD and team, for helping us make lasting memories. For a small, meaningful wedding in Chennai, The Palomar by Crossway felt like a hidden gem, personal and elegant at the same time.
