The location is decent, but the stay at Udyam Towers felt like a missed opportunity. The rooms were smaller than I expected and cramped for more than a short visit. They were dusty and dirty, and toiletries such as towels and shampoo were often missing. For the price, it didn’t feel like good value.

The room itself was fine, but dealing with the manager was a terrible experience. He wanted me to hand over the key before I checked out, then stopped me again as I was leaving for the office. I explained my belongings were still inside and refused to give it to him. He kept insisting it was “procedure” and that I could lose the key. It felt completely strange. Later, the owner called me personally and asked me to delete my comments.

The rooms are good, and the day and night managers communicated well. Whenever a problem came up, they sorted it out right away.

I only stayed at Udayam Towers for one night, and the room was nothing like the photos. It was tiny, dirty, and smelled awful. The bathroom was unhygienic, the faucet leaked, and proper toiletries weren’t provided. Even the sheets and towels looked like they hadn’t been washed. I’d tell people to look elsewhere in Porur. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Date: 24/03/2025. I wouldn’t stay at UDAYAM TOWERS again. The sheets were stained, the room was dirty and smelled bad, and there was mold in the bathroom. Hot water barely worked. Staff weren’t helpful, and housekeeping never showed up. I can’t recommend it.
