The pool water wasn't very clear, and the rooms could have been cleaner. I understand keeping an outdoor pool in a jungle area can be hard, but it still needs better upkeep. That said, the stay was pleasant. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the large property had beautiful views and plenty to enjoy. Its location close to the Zari Path core and buffer zone made safari trips very convenient. Nature and wildlife lovers will especially appreciate it, and the place has a lot of potential.

The staff were genuinely welcoming and did their best, which was the best part of my stay. The rooms, though, felt basic and short on the upkeep and polish I'd expect at this price. It doesn't feel like a 3-star property to me, and definitely not worth 10K per night. It seemed more like a decent 5K stay priced up by aggressive marketing. The food was mediocre, okay at best, and nowhere near what I'd expect for 10K a night. I suspect the rates are driven largely by big third-party vendor commissions rather than the experience itself. The photos look heavily altered. The table tennis was broken, the lawn wasn't clean, and the pool water was polluted. Don't trust the pictures or Google reviews blindly if you care about what you spend. For a cheaper trip, I'd look at nearby budget stays, since I think you'd get the same quality for half the price. If you're willing to spend a little more, I'd go to Red Earth, which costs slightly more but delivers a premium experience that feels worth it. As it stands, this place is overpriced and overrated. Save your money or spend it elsewhere.

The washroom was in an unacceptable state. The flush barely worked and pushed waste back up, which was disgusting and unhygienic. That's basic hygiene, and it shouldn't be this way at any property. At night the AC stopped working, and since we were there in peak summer in Vidarbha, it was unbearable. We tried calling the caretaker about that and urgently needed drinking water, but he didn't answer. We went looking and found him sitting casually on the sofa. Yet when new guests arrived, he was suddenly attentive and welcoming. His rude attitude and unpleasant expressions over simple requests made the situation worse. The morning staff were calm and helpful, a complete contrast to the night. The nighttime service was very poor, and we wouldn't recommend this experience.

Finding steel string in the poha, dirty bathrooms, stained mugs that were absolutely pukish, and a lizard in my parents' bathroom made the hygiene problems impossible to ignore. High tea was no better, mosquitoes filled the area and we couldn't enjoy the tea and pakoras. When we asked for basic things, we were told they weren't available or weren't served. Even a hair dryer was missing. With no Wi-Fi or phone signal, we felt cut off and helpless if an emergency came up, especially with elderly parents and a child. This was our first time in Tadoba, and I had shared our needs clearly: I was traveling with my elderly parents and daughter, all particular about hygiene, and was willing to pay for a luxury stay. Instead, the Tadoba reservation department put us in a local, substandard resort far from what had been promised. Geetanjali booked what felt like a sheddy hotel 25 km from our safari gate, despite my being specific about the distance. We had to leave very early and still drive 45 minutes to get there. The resort wasn't cheap, but its cleanliness, facilities, and service were appalling. After four hours of safari we hardly saw any animals, so the whole trip felt like a waste of time, money, and effort. I felt cheated by the reservation department. The experience was frustrating and mentally exhausting, and Tadoba felt highly overhyped. Their lack of professionalism ruined what was meant to be a special family trip.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms, food, and hospitality were all up to the mark, and the staff were very helpful. The resort is close to Zari and Keslaghat gate, which made the location convenient. Very much recommended.
