One lady on staff was kind and supportive, but the rest were terrible. The manager and other staff were rude and treated us as if we were their servants. The room was very small, and the bathroom had a horrible smell. They wouldn't even listen to what we were trying to say. Please avoid this hotel in CHIDAMBARAM. Reviews feel pointless when the owner just replies 'sorry'. They should change the staff if they value feedback.

The high price doesn't match the facilities at Arudhra Residency, Chidambaram. The room was extremely uncomfortable and poorly ventilated, so it felt suffocating. There wasn't proper clean water for bathing, and the heater didn't work. The AC barely worked either. Very disappointing stay.

They charged 600 extra for my 12-year-old, even though I said we'd manage with the same bed. They insisted on payment, and we paid, but no extra bed ever came. At checkout, the front desk said, 'only if u ask we can give'. I shouldn't have to request the bed after paying extra. Staff were rude and unhelpful. The room cost 2600, was only 70 sqft, had mosquitoes, and came with no bedsheets, just one dirty rug for three people. The only positive is how close it is to the east tower entrance, just a stone's throw away. A total disappointment. Wouldn't recommend.

A good choice for families and one of the best places near Chidambaram temple. We had a good stay overall, though the bathrooms could use some renovation. For a family of four or more, book a bigger room.
