Hotel Rajmahal

The room was in poor shape, with dirty sheets, a smelly bathroom, and general maintenance problems. Even towels and drinking water took ages and needed several follow-ups. I was also charged ₹1500 extra without a valid reason; when I questioned it, the staff brushed me off arrogantly and gave no clear explanation. They kept trying to sell overpriced taxis and tours through what seemed to be local travel operators, and their attitude changed after I refused. It felt like I was being targeted as a traveler. My stay at Rajmahal Hotel in Chikmagalur left me feeling cheated, and I usually don't post negative reviews. If you're after a peaceful trip, I'd avoid it. There are better, more honest places nearby. I'm taking legal action in consumer court, and hope justice prevails.

They don't treat you well if you're from Tamil Nadu. One of the worst service experiences. Don't book a room here. 👎👎👎

We had a comfortable, nice stay, and there's car parking too. The hotel and rooms feel old, and the facilities aren't top notch, but they're good enough. At about half the price of other hotels in the same location, it's a decent pick if you're watching your budget.
