Dhanvantari Hotel

Booking.com advertises no upfront payments and no cancellation. But right after booking, I got an email saying to pay or they couldn't hold the room. That's blatantly false advertising. Who knows what else they're not telling guests? I'm taking my business elsewhere.

We had a pleasant stay, and the area was fine. The location was easy to reach, with no problems navigating or booking a cab. One thing to know is that the hotel is on the 7th floor of a residential society, so it feels more like a homestay, which may be unfamiliar if it's your first visit to the city. The breakfast was included and delicious, with good food quality. The housekeeping staff were helpful and clearly took their work seriously. The morning and night supervisors at the desk were courteous, responsible, and cooperative, and made sure we had a safe, pleasant stay. The newly built property and rooms felt fresh. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with good amenities and AC that worked without issues. The attached washroom was clean and hygienic, with everything working. A great experience, and good for bringing family.

The room was small but clean, and the charges were reasonable for such a big city. It's near Kokilaben Hospital.

The internet photos are so misleading. This is an apartment converted into a homestay, with no car parking and no lobby. The old accordion-style elevator smells awful, and there was no security, with people from outside going up and down in it. I saw the manager eating right outside one room and staff cooking and cutting vegetables outside another. This shouldn't be called LUXURIOUS, or even a hotel.
