The Grand Krishna Luxury Hotel, Chikmagalur

We had a great holiday here and stayed three nights. The rooms are compact, but had all the utilities we needed and were very clean and well maintained. The people were so nice, welcoming, and polite. There’s a separate parking lot, plus an in-house restaurant and bar. Surprisingly, it stayed very calm with little noise. They cleaned daily and topped up the refreshments. AC, TV, fan, geyser, and kettle were all there and working, and there’s a party hall too. Thanks for such an awesome, pleasant stay.

The food was horrible, and room service was just okay. They didn’t come to clean the room for two days. For the price, I expected better, especially given the location. Most of all, the woman at reception was very rude and unpleasant to deal with.

There’s plenty of parking at the entrance, and the hotel is on a street just off M. G. Road. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with a positive feel. They have a geyser, a coffee/tea maker, an intercom, and a complimentary water bottle. The restaurant is on the third floor and serves tasty vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The restaurant staff were courteous and helpful, and the staff overall, including the woman at reception, were friendly. A great value option for a mid-tier stay.

The manager made a real effort to help us enjoy our stay. Before we even asked, he gave us a detailed itinerary of nearby attractions, with timings and the places arranged in a sensible order. He also shared a useful guest pamphlet and took time to explain it all, which was especially helpful as we were new to the area. I stayed here in late August 2025, and the experience was lovely. The hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood that felt safe and welcoming for families. Rooms were exceptionally clean and had all the necessary amenities. There was plenty of car parking, and the clean, attractive streets nearby were peaceful for walks, with no crowds, pollution, or noise. The pricing was reasonable and budget friendly, so it felt like good value. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I’d recommend it to others wanting a peaceful, well managed place.
