The restaurant food was really tasty, and the hotel is right in Chikmagalur’s main market area, which made the location very convenient. The rooms are a little small, and the bathrooms are especially cramped. Our first day, the room hadn’t been cleaned, though it was cleaned properly the next day. Room service was generally disappointing, and nobody was available to help carry our luggage. It was a good stay, but it could’ve been better.

Mr. Adarsh, the hotel manager, arranged our sightseeing, and my family had a wonderful time. The hotel is also within walking distance of the bus stand, with a very good restaurant on the ground floor. We had a lovely, comfortable room with two double beds, a cosy sitting area, and a clean, pleasant bathroom. The staff were very helpful.

The bathroom was awful: the door lock was broken, so we had to hold the door shut, and even after we reported it several times they never fixed it. It was tiny, and the shower and hand shower controls were so tight we couldn’t use them. The rooms themselves were very small, too, and our road-facing room was noisy with traffic. We had no towel at first and got one only after calling several times. The receptionist was rude, though the other staff were good. The manager was busy and arrogant, and wasn’t supportive. We booked for three days, but this place felt very overrated. If you’re planning a relaxing stay with someone you love, don’t book here.

The location is prime, but there’s no parking, and we had to argue to get a spot. The rooms are tiny, cleanliness is very poor, towels weren’t provided, and the price is high. Staff were extremely rude. One staff member literally told my wife to shut it because she’s a woman. When I came over, his tone changed. Everything about the hotel was wrong. DO NOT EVER BOOK HERE.
