Tiger King Resort

We spent a couple of days here and had a pleasant stay. The place is well maintained, and the food was decent. Chef was friendly, too. Vikas, the manager, along with Praful and Gaurav, took good care of us and were always willing to help. The location is convenient, just 500 metres from Kolar Gate.

We went to Tadoba from 20th Dec to 23rd Dec for our first trip there, and it turned out to be our best trip. We’d chosen the resort and planned the jungle safaris after reading online reviews, and what we found matched what people had said. The rooms, washrooms, and resort grounds were well maintained. Harinderji, the resort manager, was professional and experienced, and that came through in how he communicated and handled service. The cafeteria food was hygienic, tasty, well organised, and balanced in spice. The kids enjoyed it as well. Vikasji and the kitchen team had breakfast ready on time for our 5.30am safaris, with good choices. Wasimji gave us helpful guidance throughout and planned the Tadoba stay and safaris well. After our bookings were done, he was also willing to help arrange the extra Navegaon safari we requested. We got to see Chandani Tigress on that one. The rest of the support staff were helpful and kept the resort in good shape. When the shared bonfire was occupied, they arranged a separate one for our family. Thanks to the Google community for the useful reviews, and to everyone at Tadoba Tiger Resort for making our visit a happy one. We’d come back and recommend it to friends.

The room was nice, with a huge bathroom, and both the food and restaurant service were good. But the pool was dirty, the bathroom geyser didn’t work, the guest bicycles had flat tires, and the internet was out for many hours. At this price, it didn’t feel worth the money. The property seemed neglected and poorly managed.

The staff were a real bright spot, always supportive, friendly, and ready to help with a smile. Meals were delicious and had a good range of choices. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained, and the stay felt warm and relaxing. I’d love to come back.
