The food was tasty, and the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful view made the stay feel relaxing. We enjoyed the campfire and pool, too. My room at Munnar Bethel Varkis was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The manager was friendly, helpful, and available whenever we needed something, and the service was excellent. I'd definitely recommend it for a relaxing visit to Munnar.

Getting around for sightseeing was easy from this well-chosen, accessible location. We ordered local dishes and really enjoyed the food. The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient, and deserve a big round of applause. Thanks to the Bethel team for making our stay memorable. We hope to come back with more people soon. The location worked really well for an early sunrise trip, just 3 km from the Kolukkumalai jeep trekking starting point. Breakfast was included and satisfying, and the service was warm and helpful throughout. I had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, with a separate sleeping area and a cozy sitting room that gave it a cottage-like feel. Highly recommended!

The cottage had a nice atmosphere, but upkeep was poor for the price. The rooms looked neat, yet weren't properly clean, and there were mice or something else moving above the ceiling all night. If you feel lonely, they'll sing to you the whole night. Six of us went, and several woke up with severe itching. The TV didn't work. When we asked staff about it around 11 pm, he said it was nearly midnight and we should go to sleep, which was certainly one way to protect our sleep schedule. WiFi stopped working after 11 as well. Breakfast was late, and apart from the bread and jam, the rest was barely palatable. The outside view wasn't much either, though maybe our expectations were too high. Overall, the service and rooms were nowhere near what the rate should get.

A quiet place about 1 km off the highway, with a good breakfast and appreciated facilities, including a campfire. The host was especially cooperative. Good place to stay.
