Surve Farms

The food cooked by the family was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced, and the surroundings are beautiful. The rooms were only okay, though. It's very isolated and felt scary, so you'd want to come with a large family or group. Guhagar beach is 22 KMS away, and they switch off the garden lights, making that area inaccessible after dark. Safety is a real concern here. Could work for a big family.

There are lots of plants and unusual birds around the large property, though it's far from the highway. The rooms and furniture are old, but still manageable. Service was nice, the caretaker was good, and the food they served was worth it.

The owners were rude, arrogant, and unprofessional, and the room price is far too high for its condition. The old photos used to attract guests don't match the pathetic, scary state of the rooms. Ours was dirty and poorly maintained, with stale bedsheets and an unhygienic bathroom. Even the breakfast came on small paper plates. Extremely disappointing, the worst experience I've had with Surve (so called) Natures Resort.

The rooms were filthy, and the site's photos are old. Rainwater dripped down the walls, the mosquito nets were damaged, and the same old curtains shown online were so dusty that opening them sent dust everywhere. The sliding windows wouldn't slide, and the floors were slippery wherever you stepped. A terrible property, and the whole experience was below zero.
