It’s easy to reach from the highway, and the rooms are decent for the price. The restaurant downstairs has reasonable vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We were unsure after reading the reviews, but it wasn’t as bad as we expected. The odd part was finding two small cockroaches in each room. We stayed in different rooms on the outward and return trips, and somehow there were two both times 😃. Still, it was a good stopover, and I’d recommend it for a quick halt.

We didn’t sleep comfortably. The bed and quilt were both too small for two people, and we had to use the bedsheet we’d brought with us. I’d booked an AC room but was given a non-AC one. There were no toiletries, towels, or water bottles. When we ordered coffee to the room, the room boy spoke very rudely.

On a long drive to or from Hampi, this is a just-about-okay place to stop. The decor is practical, the food is basic, and the service was hit or miss. Better to avoid it if you’ve brought a picnic basket.

For the price, the room was spacious, tidy, and good. I booked a non-AC room. The bathroom was only average, and the stained tiles need more cleaning.

The restaurant is superb, and the rooms are clean, decent, and not too expensive. I don’t understand the 3.4 average rating, it should be above 4.5. Good value for money, and this isn’t a paid review.
