VGS Comforts

It's only my first day here, and I haven't been sleeping properly because of bed bugs and a bad smell. The bathroom door was already broken. I rented the room for a few days, but this doesn't feel like a good lodge for a city like Chitradurga.

Very, very bad. The room costs 1000, but it's not worth even 200. The floors look like a bus stand, the toilet is worse than a public one, and the bed is like one for beggars. Go here if you want to waste your money and peace.

It's now called SRS Lodge. I stayed one night in a non-AC room. The room was dirty, and the extra bed had bed bugs. We paid 1000 rupees for three people, so I expected a smaller room and that sort of thing.

The blankets smelled bad and the beds were torn. There was no screen on the window, and the windows wouldn't shut properly, so mosquitoes were around throughout the day. The TV had no DTH, and hot water was available only from 7 to 8 am. The washroom was the dirtiest I've seen in a hotel, with water leaking from the floor above into our closet. I complained, but nobody cared, and the owner spoke as if the room were a free stay. The AC control was at reception, and they kept switching it off, so we had to go downstairs and ask them to turn it on. The manual door lock lift would get stuck on a floor, so we mostly had to use the stairs. A disastrous stay at a three-star hotel price.
