Hotel Rk Palace

The place was poorly cared for: the lobbies, bathrooms, and lift were in very bad condition, and there wasn’t even a doormat. The old towels had holes, and soap and towels arrived only after many follow-ups. In the morning I found there was no geyser in the bathroom, and only after a long effort did I get hot water in a bucket. Nobody, from reception to general manager Mr. Prem Prakash, took care of my problems. I’d booked two rooms for one night through MMT with breakfast included. At check-in they showed me larger rooms, but the ones actually assigned were completely different, small, and suffocating. They had no dining space, and although they offered room service, it was limited to one item per person, just once.

The manager and receptionist were good, and that helped us get through the two-day stay. The hotel itself wasn’t very clean, and the covers and linen were very dirty. The photos on the website and apps are fake.

I’d paid for a booking through Agoda, but when I reached the hotel they refused to check me in. The staff were unhelpful. I had to find another option in the middle of the night. Such a bad experience. 😡😡😡😡

It was a small but good, clean hotel, and the toilets were clean and worked fine. The rooms were small but okay, and the ACs worked. I stayed for one night on the way to Udaipur. It’s right on Ajmer Road, near the end of the bypass. Overall, it was okay because the rent was cheap.
