Fabhotel Snow Drop

I paid the price listed on Goibibo.com to book FAB Hotel Snow drop Coimbatore, but when I called, the hotel said check-in would cost another 500 rupees. Customer care told me they would cover that amount. The hotel then said they would pay nothing and that I had to pay the full difference or at least 200 rupees. Since it was midnight, I paid the 200 and checked in. The room itself was poor, with bad bedding and no basic amenities. The hotel told me its minimum price was 1,500 rupees. When I asked why it was listed at 800 online, they said prices were updated without their knowledge. If they know the listing is wrong, why leave it there? Guests book and then can't cancel, so they end up paying extra. This feels like taking advantage of customers. The different online and in-person prices made this a very bad experience, and demanding extra money this way is unprofessional. It feels like cheating, maybe even a scam.

I’m following up about what happened at snowdrop. Although my booking was confirmed, the receptionist didn’t even check my booking ID before treating me badly. He humiliated me, threatened me when I tried to photograph the hotel board, and made me leave. I lost a whole day and had to cancel my plans. I received a refund for the stay I couldn’t use, but the money isn’t my concern. The humiliation and disruption were serious, and other reviews seem to describe similar incidents. Please give me a detailed account of what action was taken on my complaint. A refund alone doesn’t address the behavior or the apparent recurring problem at this property. I hope your team responds promptly with real information about how this will be handled.

They switched the air-conditioned room I booked at a 3-star hotel to a 1-star room without asking me. It was so awful I can barely call it 1-star. The room smelled bad, had dirty blankets, and no air conditioning. A disgusting, really terrible experience.

We booked online expecting an air-conditioned room with a private bathroom, but they said online bookings didn't get either. They also wouldn't provide a clean sheet, towels, or basic toiletries, and told us to change hotels or contact customer support. According to them, we'd have received those things if we'd booked directly. They made us wait an hour or two because they wanted to charge extra. I've stayed at fabHotels before, but they told us outright that this wasn't fabhotel. I hope fabHotels looks into it.
