We saw other guests raising similar complaints, so these problems didn’t seem limited to our family. At checkout, management locked us in the hall area after we raised our concerns and said we wouldn’t pay the remaining balance given the conditions. The manager was aggressive and argumentative. We were effectively made to pay the full amount so we could leave in time for our train to Bangalore. Our stay from 27th February to 2nd March was a disaster. The AC wasn’t working in several rooms. Staff brought a cheap stand fan with no safety cover on top instead of properly fixing it. It seemed unsafe, since someone could easily get hurt by touching it while it was running. The rooms were in awful condition, with visible fungus seepage and mold, and rats inside. Housekeeping never came to clean during our three-day stay. There were no basic toiletries either, not even soap or handwash in the washrooms. It was extremely unhygienic and unacceptable. This was unsafe and completely unprofessional, one of the worst hotel stays our family has had. I’d strongly advise anyone to avoid this hotel.

I booked a suite two months ahead, but the AC wasn’t working after check-in and they couldn’t fix it despite my complaints. The rooms had no clean linens, a broken toilet, a bad smell, and no AC. There was no one responsible for the hotel, not even a manager. I was told the manager would call, but even after 8 hours they hadn’t addressed the situation. How can a person visiting from another state find somewhere else in the middle of the night? They even suggested cancelling my booking, as if they didn’t understand the problem this caused. Cleartrip, where I booked, also didn’t respond when contacted. No one should book rooms through Cleartrip. I don’t understand how the government gives star ratings to substandard hotels like this. Places that cheat people in broad daylight shouldn’t get a licence.

The rooms were clean, the staff were courteous, and the service overall was excellent. I had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again. Thanks to the operator and hospitality staff.

The complimentary breakfast was poor in both variety and quality, and the service standard wasn’t good. Rooms are only a little above average, with cleanliness just okay. The dingy lift and staircase also meant I didn’t get a comfortable feeling on entering the hotel.
